Jackie Perkins (ex. Jazz Under the Stars - Aug. 18 from 6 p.m.)Come enjoy a relaxing evening of jazz under the starry sky. While you listen to the music, you can enjoy a special seasonal menu inspired by local flavors.
Jackie Perkins (Sparta, North Caroline, 1963) was born under the sign of music, with a pianist mother, trombonist father, and violinist sister. At the age of nine she began playing piano, then guitar and viola. At eighteen she enrolled in college to study opera, majoring in music and Italian.
In 2021 she sang on Jaime Dolce's album Love Generator, and participated in numerous concerts in Italy in 2022. She collaborated on tour with Giulia Millanta in Europe and performed tribute concerts to Joni Mitchell.
